| Agreed Andy, not proffesional at all, I would love to join as 1.6 admin, atleast try and get some decent reputation back to gbgl 1.6 as current's are doing sod all in my eyes.. |

Nexuss. Supprisingly at this time of year alot of people have exams, including Trix and Carl. Therefore it's hardly a prime time to start running massive events that yourself and Andy seem to be suggesting. It is not only the admins that are effected by this either, clans will be players down due to the exams. So if you ask me, 8ball has the right idea just doing fun cups etc until exams finish and then take it from there. The admins for Source, 1.6 and CZ are all coming up with fresh and exciting ideas for after the exam period is over. So please do not say that anybody is doing "sod all" as it is not true. Where did i suggest a massive event? i am referring to small ones, to stir up the 1.6 mix a little. SGL is focussed on ESWC and ED are mid competition. There is no better time to have a 16 team cup that lasts what 4 weeks. I'm not bothered about prizes, i just want some competitive matches for 1.6. A simple 16 team up, standard maps, standard rules, simple knockout competition. It's easy to set up in GBGL ACP, and easy to run. |

| So exams are all year round are they? you havnt been here long enough to notice that nothing has changed in cs 1.6 since its started pretty much. The league has never completed. |

well nexuss if you are suggesting that you have been around longer than some people, you would have actually known that 8ball left the GBGL staff due to other commitments, he has only been back for a short amount of time so stopping giving them grief, they have things planned and they will follow them through soon enough. Just have some more patience - we all know that people on't live on computers (except maybe you do? i don't know...) and they do have other commitments such as exams at whatever level. I'd actually say that if you have a problem with how the admins are doing their job, then PM them on here or IRC or even catch them on MSN, because none of this crap is really needed... /rage over |

I'm sorry but what? I am not trying to cause grief to any admins. I have said i am willing to help and make this league stronger as i feel 8Ball has not been able to run it alone / with a deputy since he became league admin which is almost 2 years now.. The admin team needs to be more mature as in non school kids who cannot play / come online because their parents wont let them. This may not be the case but it certainly has been. This league set out to be one of the best offering competitive play to top clans and yet no single season has been complete albeit the AC coder messed carl around but still, teams were allowed in which were unreliable and gbgl 1.6 was considered a joke a long time ago.. thats why i want to change that as this is an incredible website and the community is fairly strong but does have the odd **** or two.. admins are needed, creativeness is needed. This league will only work if WE put the effort needed into it. In reply to your question.. no i don't sit on my pc all day as i do too have commitments and i understand about exams but enemydown continues to be forever planning events and dealing with issues because most of their admins are out of education and have the time to deal with users. I want to help gbgl 1.6 and don't think im slating you guys at all, a little time and effort and bright-minded thinking is needed! So i hope you take my views into account as you really need to do something with this league as fun cups are ok now and again but people want competitiveness. |

Nexuss, i apologise if i have missed something here, but I'm sure in my last post i pointed out that there are events in the works for all three Counter-Strike games. Im an admin and I am no longer in school, yet my job takes alot of time out of my schedule aswell as my other commitments, therefore making me about as active as other people I know currently doing their exams. I think you may find bEZZA is correct with the fact that 8ball has only recently rejoined GBGL as the 1.6 League Admin. You also stated that it has been almost 2 years, but you have been a member of GBGL since 1 January 2007 - 00:10 AM, so just over a year ago. Please look at facts before posting, it helps all and saves us all time. All of the admins are mature, im not sure what you are trying to get at there. You will also find that admins ask for your opinions on what cups the users want as a community, so that you get what you actually want, and not what the admins think you want. |

We are always looking for new people to put there ideas forward, and im sure if you speak to Carl or Trix Nexuss they will be more then happy to accomodate your ideas, and there may be a spot available for you as an admin, as you do seem to want 1.6 to work. We are aware what the 1.6 community thinks of GBGL, and we are working very hard to rectify it for you, but please bear with us on doing this. I will let Trix and Carl know that you are interested in helping the 1.6 community here at GBGL, and will get them to contact you asap. Thanx for the input lads

Yes i registered to the website in 2007 but i have been an active follower of gbgl from when it was first started back in 2005 under previous owner travis.. I gave ideas to Carl when he had a BLOG page uploaded before the release of the site so i know what im talking about. The community is as little as ever as all known teams left when the season failed, they wanted a competitive successful league as does carl and trix i can guarantee. GBGL has had problems with immature admins ever since the name was created. You may or may have not known that 8ball has been league admin for ALOT longer than you think, yes he may have just came back but before then he was still league admin so my statement stands. I think you should look at the facts before posting as you obviously don't know where im coming from here and how much i want gbgl to work

Thank you Wilma, i think people have not fully read my posts as iv said how much i want to help rectify the problem that has haunted gbgl 1.6  I hope to speak to them soon. |
