Challenge Cup Delay

The Challenge Cup, GBGL's pride and joy of the top Counter Strike:Source teams in the GBGL will unfortunately not take place this Thursday (8/5/08). Myself and AntiX have come to the agreement that it should be held the week after (15/5/08) but at 8PM (GMT) for all games. You may be wondering why the dates have been pushed forward a week, well the reason is because of people having problems with their AC, you all have a week to contact wrl with any problems your having. Use the AC from now in pcw's or even public, just make sure it works! There are no excuses for not using it this late in the competition. There will be 2 week bans delivered for all who do not use the AC.Helpful AC Links:

Challenge Cup Quarter Finals: Thursday the 15th Of May. 8PM GMT.
Challenge Cup Semi Finals: Thursday the 22nd Of May. 7.30PM GMT.
Challenge Cup Third Place Playoff: Thursday the 22nd Of May. 9PM GMT.
Challenge Cup Grand Final: Thursday the 22nd Of May. 9PM GMT.
For those that dont know/forgotten, the Quarter Finals are to be played on de_train. The Semi Finals on de_cpl_mill with the Grand Final and Third Place Playoff being played over de_dust2 and then de_inferno, if needed de_cpl_mill will be the decider.

pod. these matches will be played on GBGL servers. the issues are being resolved. so this is not an issue. The fixtures are not being pulled out of a hat. They are already decided on by the league positions, i.e. how the world cup knock-out matches are decided. The fixtures will be announced asap. |
