CSS Challenge Cup AOTG

The CSS Challenge Cup finally kicks off this week after a disappointment last week! This week is scheduled to be played on dust2. The map is possibly the most played map these days and so no team should struggle with tactics. This week will be a showcase of individual talent culminated with teamwork. Group 1iR vs. DFADFA are strong contenders for this cup, thanks to a big backing from the GBGL community. However, I think that iR will take this match, with a lot of good results in recent weeks, including 3 victories over DFA. Lefty will be the biggest threat to iR’s plans with his above par awping skill, and similar deagle skill. My prediction is iR 16 – 10 DFAFate vs. EpidemicFate are one of the favourites to win this cup, and with their first game against a clan unknown in GBGL, they will look to take the victory. Epidemic will look to upset Fate but only if they take advantage of the recent roster changes made by Fate. My prediction is Fate 16 – 4 EpidemicGroup 2Syn vs. afraidGSyn could not ask for a better start to life in GBGL, with a 100% win record so far. However, this could be short lived, playing against a Latvian team that has some of the best Latvian Source players. I think this could be a close game, but with so little information on afraidG it could go either way. My prediction is Syn 14 – 16 afraidG[tdm] vs. NarChaDPlaying against a very well known clan, [tdm] will have to pull something special out of the bag to win this match. With a roster of only 5 members, [tdm] will have to hope all of their members can make it every week. NarChaD are established and experienced and expected to win this match. My prediction is [tdm] 8 – 16 NarChaDGroup 3eleventh vs. [TTK]eleventh will be looking to take this match with some ease, and I think that would be a suitable assumption to make. [TTK] have won only 2 of their last 20 matches in GBGL and I cannot see them making it 3 in this match. My prediction is eleventh 16 – 0 [TTK]GT! Vs. FF$A match I believe to be similar to the one above really, GT! only play for fun which will obviously put them as second favourites in this match. FF$ have got a majority of their second team on the GBGL roster but I believe they will still have what it takes to see off GT! My prediction is GT! 5 – 16 FF$Group 4-=ES=- Vs. som.Being as unbiased as possible in this prediction, som defiantly have what it takes to win this match, but only if they work well as a team. -=ES=- have possibly the biggest roster on GBGL and very few wins to their name, leading me to think som will be the victors of this battle. My prediction is -=ES=- 4 – 16 som.Corruption vs. xSect.8xI have played with corruption before and they have amazing team work, which in my opinion is the most important thing you need in a clan. xSect.8x seem to have started GBGL on the wrong foot, without winning a game yet, and therefore there is only one way this prediction can go. mate its done on what i can see. yeh you have played iR, DFA and NoID, but they are/were all in this competition and if you lost to them, you are unlikely to win against corruption as they are of a similar level, if not better than some of those teams.

just to let you all know, we haven't been playing match's as much as you guy's or in fact CSS, most of you have been playing it since 1.6, i don't winge about any win or loss were in this cup for fun at end of the day i play this game with my clang for fun at the end of the day i will get 5 players up 2 your standerds and we will see what happens!

lol played shortie i dont understand how underated we are Were expected to get tonked every match :S We will just play naff clans 4 times in a row and we will then be best team in gbgl ? lol any teams who think were easy challenge and we can make people actually think ? it may be my opinion lol but i hint bit of lack of respect to our team by many when were quite a decent clan .

Elliot, if the above is aimed at me for my write up, i understand that you may think i under estimated you but I can only go on what I see. It is a predication, and thus no lack of respect is given to any clan. I know corruption as i have played with them before and i know they are a good clan. hey dudes from sect.8, it was only a prediction and Antix took the time to actually write this up for our benefit. Anyway his prediction wasn't too far off, if corruption had of won the knife round and went t first his prediction would probably be about right.

LAL Angel. I doubt it! Sect 8 were very good as T but just lacked the tactics to carry the result through on the CT side. It was never going to be 16-3.
Thanks AntiX tho for the AOTG, it's great to have these and im sure the predictions will be more accurate next week after seeing the results from last night.

It is a prediction made on prior results.
Your results are not the best as such so how can he expect you to take the win against a team who are big in gbgl and he knows as he played with them. the closed prediction was ES - vs SOM final score 16-2 to som and the prediction that is most wrong is DFA vs iR final score 16-5 to dfa So dont take it the wrong way.
