A Reminder

This is a quick reminder for you ALL. GBGLAC is mandatory for every single fixture that you play in GBGL. Some of you seem to have forgotten this - so here it is once again for you all. If you do not use the AC you will be banned for two weeks. If it happens again, you will receive a permanent ban off all the GBGL networks. Nobody has an excuse with the updated AC as it has native Vista support. Ignorance is no excuse. All Senior Admins will be enforcing this rule heavily; there will be no room for negotiation. If you have a problem with the AC, please report it in the Anti-Cheat Section. You Have Been Warned

Take it someone has been banned for not using AC then?
-Edit- Why doesn't gbgl put a named and shamed thing? So people can use that to ban off their servers for hacks/not using AC and stuff.

So what you mean is that people should be banned from other servers becuase they might be "stupid" (Tired from work and school) if they forget to use GBGL AC? I do understand this when it comes to Cup's and the "Closed" leagues but this can't seriusly used in the Open Ladder?
Shame and flame; What a stupid idea, we are all humans adn can forget. Thats a fact!

There is no reason to forget about using AC, AC is mandatory in all the main leagues, if you play in any of them you know this. We are not enforcing AC just to annoy you, we are doing it to protect you so that you have a nice clean game. The servers that we are refering to are the GBGL match servers. If any public servers wish to ban you after seeing that an GBGL-AC ban has been placed then that is there decision.

And the reason was trange tho AC crashed his comp and he was a sub in a match, on open ladder, he got a 2 week ban. Get a grip mate, if it was a "Cup" or a match that has any matters it would be agree able. But now? Silly silly...

Clan Leaders should ask before match are you on AC to avoid bans. It really isnt that hard you know.... You really want to get a reputation as a possible cheaters?

Yeh I can understand that maybe sumone forgets A/C i nearly did the other day it was the fact of my CL asking does everyone have it on. So I understand if one person forgets but clans shud take the responsabilty of reminding members to load it before a war starts otherwise you lose anyway so i guess we will see which teams care about themselves to remind the forgetful types. Dan I like your Name and Shame idea put it on a big graphics board 8 Ball with some nice catchy pics I think people will like that. See Dan you shouldnt off left

There's no guareentee that the latest version works. I finally managed to get AC running on my vista 32bit machine after speaking to wrl nly for it to fail when trying to upload each of my 27 screenshots after a hour session.
Hope admins understand that AC is not 100% bug free and that players having problems are able to record POVs and smoke screens as evidence that they're not hacking.

We fully understand that some errors can occur, if you get any errors you should contact wrl with a ss and a description of what has happened. If you then intend on playing make sure you ask the opposing team BEFORE you continue the match. Also remember to ss the evidence, if a conflict i submitted on the grounds of no AC running and you do not have the evidence to back up that they agreed to you playing then a ban will occur.
Please remember that the GBGL commiunity asked for an AC, which wrl has worked very hard on, but any errors how ever small need to put into the ac forums, for us to continue with any further AC development.

Well i do understand that i should be on, and that the CL should remind people, but the fact was 1) He was a SUB becuase some guy lagged out totaly 2) It started to crash his comp aswell and what would you do?
And its was Open Ladder, nothing else.

Wrl: With all respect you this league; If you are in a clan, you play a match against a team, you just started the Ac and its made your comp freeze; Now there are people waiting for you to come on and play for the team; What would you do, take SS and post on forums or go to the match and be there for your team? Sure you use SS as proof etc. But as i said before, this was the Open ladder.
If he hade the time im 100% sure he would post thoose pictures up and tell you Wrl, but he didn't have the time.

It makes no difference as to weather it was a ladder match season match or cup match, the fact is, is that AC is mandatory. Would you goto another league and say to them " it was an open ladder so it doesnt matter" ?
TalkToFrank has had a 2 week ban, if he is having issues with the AC crashing his comp then he needs to speak to wrl, we have a irc help channel, so theres no reason for him not to come in there and try to resolve the issus himself. If his not sure of the channel it is #GBGL.admins
I trust that you have had your say, and everything has been taken on boared. We hope that everyone will learn from this persons mistake and will not have to issue any further bans in the future for people not running AC.

I agree that AC needs to be used. But anyone having problems should tell the opposing team and if available the GBGL match admin. I doubt wrl will be able to sort my problem out tonight so I hope that this will not prevent me from participating in tomorrow's cup match.
I have no problem taking any screenshots or personal videos and sending these to admins. AC is there to protect us all from lowlife cheaters

AC is to be used in any game that you play in, in GBGL. Whether that is an open ladder match, a 2on2, a cup game, a league game...It doesn't matter - its to be used.
Regarding Errors, screenshot them and put them on the AC forum so they can be fixed. Usually if you have a problem, a 3rd Party AC can be used and you link to the profile immediately after the match.

Abc, we discussed this in steam last night, he evan said he knew it crashed his pc before the game was evan started so he had more than enough time to tell some body.
And if the ac crash's a pc its not exactly the AC's problem as it runs fine on every one else's pc

Right basically, yes there will be SOME occasions where, AC may not work or it craashed, but YOU as a person, should know this, and like Wilma said, Screenshot it, normally when playing aa match you warm up??? Use the AC then, AC is not just designed for Matches only with a passworded server. use it, Test it. And if there are problems, tell your opposing team, show them you've tired, screenshot VALID errors etc.
AC is the way forward and the more you ALL use it, the cleaner the League is and the haappier everyone is because they know they're Safe. Why this has got this far is a bit like hmm!?
There are always GBGL admins around, if not, i am always around to get in contact with GBGL Admins for anyone. it isn;'t difficult getting in contact and getting GBGL to sort something out.
Use the resources and common sense everyone has yeah?

If you read; He was a sub in the match, he wasnt even suppose to play in that team. And i have a question, if you get a bluescreen how can you "ss" it? ((;
