Season 3 - The Winners
Written by 8Ball^ in Condition Zero News
It’s been a long and tiring seven weeks for all involved in CZ Season 3 at GBGL, however it’s been fun and we hope that you all look forward to Season 4, which I am sure will be coming at a later date. This season has brought some unexpected and entertaining results along with some disappointing defaults due to the inevitable teams folding business. However, the season is over and the results are in.Last Week – Review

Premier Division
Spartan v Fragnatix
After winning the knife round, Spartan went CT. This proved to go against them as Fragnatix dominated going 6-0 up. They then had a change of tactics and went 11-4 at the break. The Second half saw an improvement by Spartan, after player problems caused a 4on4 situation. They managed to claw back some rounds, however after Fragnatix got their 5th back, the game was over.
Spartan 9 – 16 Fragnatix
Mindgames v Sisters Of Mercy
I got this prediction completely wrong. Mindgames v som was predicted to be the game of the season, and I had bets on it being a draw. However, an almost flawless performance from Mindgames saw them thrash som in this battle of the CZ Legends. I think Mindgames will be proud of their achievement, and som bitterly disappointed.
Mindgames 16 – som 5
Say No 2 Racism v Godlike
I remember a time where godlike were at the top of the CZ scene, however they dropped out of this competition, and so they can’t get a result. However, seeing as SN2R hadn’t bothered to show up for the previous two weeks before the fixture, the game is a tie.
Say No 2 Racism 0 – 0 Godlike
Divine v RUIN
As I said in the Ahead of the Game last week, Divine have folded and therefore could not compete in the fixture, it was a RUIN default.
Divine 0 – 1 RUIN
Division 1
CI v E*e
In what was probably the most exciting match of the season, both sides dominated each other in a powerhouse clash. The first half played out as 14-1 to CI, however they fell to pieces as E*e clawed back causing the game to finish in the fairest result, a tie.
CI 15 – 15 E*e
BP v BoD
BoD started nicely and they looked fluid. However, it evaporated as BP turned it around to crush them 11-4 at the end of the first half. After the break, BP continued their domination and Murdoc played especially well. It showed in the result, a convincing BP win.
BP 16 – 5 BoD.
Naturals v GkS
Naturals dominated this game, however they had a few silly errors. What was more stupid was the mistake made by GkS, who lost around due to use of the highly debated Russian Walk. It was no-where near as tight as predicted, and Naturals showed fight in their victory.
Naturals 16 – 5 GkS
BIS v Rabidz
Less close than I thought. However, people’s thoughts were confirmed – Rabdiz are a community clan. They simply have not proved themselves on this stage and suffered heavy losses to a lot of teams, this week was no exception.
BIS 16 – 4 Rabidz
Division 2
ne.gamers v virtue
Disappointing. Default.
ne.gamers 1 – 0 virtue
SeN v HMSS
Its still apparent that HMSS are rusty. However, full credit to SeN who dominated this one.
SeN 16 – 5 HMSS
fuz v echo
Less close than I thought it would be, and a reversed score. Fuz played extremely well to take this one away from echo and full congratulations to them for proving me wrong

fuz 16 – 7 echo
TsG v xXx
Well, I thought xXx would win, but not by the margin they did. They de_stroyed TsG in a whitewash game, congratulations!
TsG 1 – 16 xXx

> Wilma
> Dan
> wrl
> Match Admins
Without them, this season would not have worked. Also thank you to the teams who turned up week in, week out to play their matches and have fun.
I also want to say a big thank you to Dan and his commitment to GBGL. He regretfully stepped down from his position yesterday. GBGL wishes you the best of luck.
