Challenge Cup applications close

Its been a long time coming but applications for the Challenge Cup are now closed, me and Actionz will today sit down and look through all 26 applications and will pick 16 teams to play. We will look for things such as maturity, activeness in the league, as well as activeness in other leagues for example whether you have defaulted matches for not turning up etc...Teams will be announced as soon as we have picked the 16 teams.
The starting day for this Cup will be the 10th of April with the first game starting at 8PM, so don't miss it!
Please take note that group games will take place on a Thursday for 3 weeks straight so if you have a problem with the days, please PM me.

i'm sorry but wtf does it change, stop being a little arsehole unless you want to do my job, i'd love to see you fecking try. fecking kids. Iv told this to many clans over the past week, im clamping down on pricks because im getting tired of it. Teams can be expendable and i couldn't care less who you are. |

Perhaps you may consider that people have exams in late April/May (Uni/AS/A2) that will now be interrupted because you pushed the timing back. Why has it taken 6/7 weeks to organise a tournament? And after 7 weeks, only 25 teams have applied of which a few of those have probably folded or don't even check GBGL anymore. I'm not a kid thanks, I'm 20 (elder than you) and I've done "your job" for a hell of a lot longer than you have and I've run many more leagues/cups than you have. Not sure why it has taken 6/7 weeks to organise a simple cup. The fact that only 25 teams have applied in 5 weeks means that you might want to try harder and perhaps teams aren't expendable, especially clans who aren't likely to fold/are active such as Kokaine who have been running since CSS was released. Also not sure why you deleted my last comment considering it didn't contain any abuse and was just questioning why the dates have been changed with no warning. Considering GBGL admins regularly comment on EDs totalitarian admins, I think it's funny to see comments being deleted. I expect this post will be deleted and I'll be muted. GL with getting CSS running, you clearly need it. |

I have two questions, why have the dates been changed? And why has it taken 6/7 weeks from announcing it to closing sign-ups to organise a 16 clan cup? If those questions can be anwsered without a hissy fit that Saint displayed then that's fair enough. It was a simple question really and I don't really care now if we get picked or not as we won't play because the dates have been changed. |

99% of leagues don't take 2 months from announcing a league to closing sign-ups hence the questions and of course we need to plan ahead if we are going to be accepted. If you were waiting for the AC (fair enough) then it should be have been anounced now rather than 2 months ago and/or fun cups being organised till it was released. |

We need to know so we can arrange to be available for the dates! Those questions are perfectly acceptable for admins to answer. Anti=Cheat is a fair reason to delay the start of the cup, it just would have been nice for a news post saying why it's taken 6/7 weeks - that's all we ask! Role on active css leagues and events and a time when admins amd clans can get along! |

1. JiM you will use GBGLAC, or you won't be playing  2. the reason i waited 6 weeks was because i reset the open ladder, i wanted to see who was active and who was not. There is no point in me choosing teams if they are just going to default each match, i dought any of you would like that tbh. Any more problems with it then go moan to Trix please, i have to much to do atm. |
